What truck dispatch costs at Beast Freight
Dispatch fees are a percentage of each load's gross. Our standard rates run 6% to 8%. During launch you pay 2 points less: 4% for established carriers on dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, Conestoga and RGN, 5% under six months of authority, and 6% for power only, hot shot and box truck. No setup fee, no monthly fee, no long-term contract. You pay only on loads we book.

Worked example
Is a dispatcher worth the fee?
A truck running 2,400 loaded miles a week at $2.60 per mile grosses $6,240. At the 4% launch rate the fee is $250 a week; at the standard 6% it would be $374 (the launch rate saves $125 a week). The dispatcher covers the launch-rate fee by adding about 10 cents per mile ($250 ÷ 2,400 miles), or by taking four hours of broker calls off your week. Whether that's worth it depends on the driver and the lanes.
